Question by Kelly B: what would you do?
36 weeks pregnant labour deck was very rude to me today?
i was having contraction all night last night,
they were on average every 10 min or so anbd lasted about 20-30 seconds starting in my lower back and wrapping around the front.
I went to the labour deck the female dr was very rude to me told me to sit and wait.
I got sent to a room a nurse came in hooked me up to the monitor for 1 hour of so and left,
the dr came back in asked what was going on checked the paper print out and said i was having contractions.
she then did an internal said i was 1cm could get a finger tip inside and was 25-50% effaced.
She then told me it was ligerment pain and told me to go home…
I tried to tell her that the pain happends no matter if im in the bath walking sitting etc but she walked away and discharged me… on the paper work it said take tylenol..
I understand if im not in active labour they send you home but do they have to be so rude about it,
i called a birthing center ans asked them questions, she told me im most likely in early labour and the baby is low pushing on my cervix causeing effacment and that things could pick up pace fast or this could go on for days/weeks…..why couldnt the labour deck just explain this….
By the way we a a navy family and im stuck with a navy hospital as we are forward deployed in japan
